We’re here! We’re finally…seemingly…at the end!

With testing almost done, we’re all beginning to do one of four things (if not all four things) 😁

___ Think about next year

___ Plan our Escape…I mean vacation

___ Pack up our rooms

___ Do less restrictive, but more fun things in our classrooms

I’m there witcha! I just proctored an exam on Thursday from 12 until 3:30 in the afternoon – running around and getting students their testing supplies, reading the redundant instructions, calculating their testing time 🙂 – I was fried after.

I went home and crashed! CRASHED AND BURNED!

We’re all burnt out, so here’s somethings I suggest: movement, presentation, projects, and games.

I used this game below for MY AP LANGUAGE class review. Students had fun as they tried to remember and use the elements of the class.

Presentations and end of year project-based assignments also foot the bill. Students utilize learned ideas and concepts, you just facilitate the space and their completion of it. Less stress for you both.

Hang in there! Let’s make it to the end and keep them working until it comes.

Enjoy the rest of your year with these little ones, but remember to take care of yourself in the process…after all, they need you next year too!
